tardis_stowawayWearing: Button-up sweater with rainbow stripes over a dusky pink top with fake suede-ish fabric and a bit of lacing at the neck, comfy jeans, purple socks with sparkly bats and the word "battitude," dangly earrings, and as always my watch and "I <3 the Earth" bracelet.
Hair: Red-brown (the red is artificially enhanced) down to the middle of my back.
Makeup: None. Never except for very special occasions.
Ate today: tea, bagel and instant oatmeal for breakfast; delayed lunch of a tomato and mozzarella sandwich with an apple; ommelette with more tomato and mozzarella plus newly purchased basil for dinner; banana, pluot, candy corn, cherry coke, and more tea for snacks.
Last thing said: "Hope you're well. Call me back."
Last phone call: I left a message for the person who might buy the old CD player I put on Craigslist.
In your bag: Which one? My purse? My personal daypack? My teaching supplies bag? Can we just leave this at "too much"?
Last watched on TV: the Daily Show on Thursday (rerun, but I hadn't seen it before.)
Plans for today: write a bit more on the next Ilyria fic before bed. Tomorrow, do some local sightseeing and, if I'm really a good girl, some lesson planning. Also, email friends and attempt to organize a camping trip.
Last thing bought: I went to the farmer's market and bought more tomatoes, basil, pluots, asian pears, fresh hummus, and pita bread.
Listening to: Jennifer Nettles Band, "Remain"
Last showered: Night before last (too beat last night, too hurried this morning. Hey, my area is in a drought. I'm saving water!)
Looking forward to: DVD release of Doctor Who S3 so I can finally see those episodes I missed during the craziness of moving. November 6!
Worst part of the day: A coworker's illness meant I had to take over her chores, which I didn't really know how to do properly.
Best part of the day: That Friday feeling.
Favourite person of the day: My mother, for mailing me candy corn!
Thinking about: Getting the tone right in this fic, where to go camping in November and not get totally frozen. Also, I'm thankful my part of CA isn't on fire.
Current annoyance: My procrastinative nature.
Current obsession: Doctor Who, of course.
Random TMI: My watch tan is so strong it practically require sunglasses to view.
Feeling: Warmer now that I've got a mug of tea.
Hearing: Music on my headphones (now moved on to Simon & Garfunkel's "The Sound of Silence.") If I take them off, the heater.
