Here's a meme grabbed from
theladymore.
Give me a character and I'll tell you:
1: sexuality headcanon
2: otp
3: brotp
4: notp
5: first headcanon that pops into my head
6: favorite line from this character
7: one way in which I relate to this character
8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character
9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?
Fandoms you might want to ask about include Marvel Cinematic Universe (including tv), Doctor Who/Torchwood, Sherlock, Leverage, Whedonverse tv, Star Trek (TOS/AOS), Sleepy Hollow, or whatever other fandoms you've seen me talk about around here.
(Note that I am posting this and then going to bed, so don't expect a prompt answer.)

Date: 2015-08-11 04:37 am (UTC)1. sexuality headcanon: In canon I read her as more or less straight, but I do love bi!Molly in fanfic.
2. OTP: If I had to pick just one I'd go with Molly/Lestrade, with a close second to the sedoretu of Sherlock/Molly/Mary/John.
3. brotp: Molly & John
4. notp: Molly/Moriarty. I kinda love that it happened in canon, but I really don't want to read anything about it being any more than three dates and her dumping his ass.
5. first headcanon that pops into my head: Went through a goth phase as a teenager. Got over it when she realized that she can be into both macabre stuff and colorful cutesy stuff.
6. Favorite line: "You're a bit like my dad. He's dead. No, sorry—" and the whole conversation that follows where she tells Sherlock that she's noticed that he looks sad when he thinks John can't see.
7. One way in which I relate to this character: Oh goodness, I could write a huge list. Since I'm only supposed to list one, let's go with tendency to be awkward around people on whom I have a crush.
8. Thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: That whole scene in Scandal in Belgravia where she has brought Sherlock a Christmas gift that shows her feelings a little too openly and Sherlock goes and spells it all out in front of everyone. But then she turns it into a moment of awesome by calling him out on his rudeness, because Molly is better than me.
9. cinnamon roll or problematic fave? Such a cinnamon roll!

Date: 2015-08-11 11:03 am (UTC)I think though that the last question was never as easy as it is with Molly. Perfect cinnamon roll that she is! <3

Date: 2015-08-11 04:59 am (UTC)2: otp: Ianto/Jack (This is not my OTP for Jack, but I don't really have any other ships for Ianto)
3: brotp: Ianto & Gwen. Also, Ianto & Myfanwy the pterodactyl.
4: notp: Ianto/Owen. Not that I've ever seen this pairing, but it would be a terrible idea. Really, anybody sleeping with Owen is a terrible idea IMHO.
5: first headcanon that pops into my head: Consistently wins at Torchwood poker nights. This is partially because he has a world-class poker face, partially because he cheats, and partially because Jack lets him get away with the cheating.
6: favorite line from this character: "Mobiles, landlines, tin cans with bits of string, everything, absolutely everything: no phones, phones all broken. Hello? Anyone there? No! Cause the phones aren't working!"
7: one way in which I relate to this character: I too enjoy deadpan humor and would sleep with Jack Harkness if the opportunity arose.
8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: Not the character directly, but I have loads of secondhand embarassment from the fangirls who gave the writers excessive amounts of shit when Ianto died. Being sad about his death is fine, even years after the face. Writing fixit fics and creating the memorial wall in Cardiff are all great. But the way that some were endlessly moaning about it while kind of ignoring the thing where Jack had to kill his own grandson and a few people were harassing the writers about it was not cool and made me embarassed to be a fangirl. Torchwood is a show where bad things happen to good people sometimes. He died working heroically to save the Earth.
9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave? Problematic fave, mostly due to that whole having kept his Cyberman girlfriend in the basement and lied about it to the team thing.

p3: Nine/Rose/Jack3: brotp: Nine & Harriet Jones, MP, Flydale North
4: notp: Nine/Jackie Tyler, not that anyone ships it other than Jackie the first time she sees him
5: first headcanon that pops into my head: actually is from the north of Gallifrey. ("Lots of planets have a north!") When he was young he had a regional accent that he rapidly trained himself out of when he went to the Academy, but after the destruction of Gallifrey he adopted the Earth equivalent of his home accent as a form of tribute/continued beating himself up about the Time War.
6: favorite line from this character: Do you know like we were saying? About the Earth revolving? It's like when you're a kid. The first time they tell you that the world's turning and you just can't quite believe it because everything looks like it's standing still. I can feel it. {he grabs her hand} The turn of the Earth. The ground beneath our feet is spinning at a thousand miles an hour. And the entire planet is hurtling around the sun at sixty-seven thousand miles an hour and I can feel it. We're falling through space, you and me. Clinging to the skin of this tiny little world and if we let go... {he drops her hand}. That's who I am. Now forget me, Rose Tyler. Go home.
That speech gives me happy chills every time.
7: one way in which I relate to this character: Argh, can't narrow it down so here's three: occasionally moody, loves bananas, have strong feelings about Rose Tyler and Jack Harkness.
8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: I'm embarrassed for everyone involved with the number of fart jokes in the Slitheen episodes.
9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave? Cinnamon roll. He thinks he's a problematic fave, but he is such a cinnamon roll.

That speech gives me happy chills every time.
Oh yeah. It's up there with Seven's "There are worlds out there where the sky is burning..." as a definitive poetic ever-repeatable quote.
He thinks he's a problematic fave, but he is such a cinnamon roll.
Ha! Yes, he would, wouldn't he?

Date: 2015-08-11 06:05 am (UTC)2: otp: Mycroft/cake. If I have to pick a human, Mycroft/Anthea.
3: brotp: Mycroft & Sherlock. Their sibling relationship is so messed up but so fascinating.
4: notp: Holmescest. Like, I don't judge other people who have that as their fic kink, but I find incest SUPER SQUICKY.
5: first headcanon that pops into my head: Surprisingly good with kids, not that he ever intends to have any of his own. Will probably do a lot of babysitting for Baby Watson.
6: favorite line from this character: "You're not haunted by the war, Dr. Watson. You miss it. Welcome back." Also, that grimace he makes after saying "legwork!" speaks volumes.
7: one way in which I relate to this character: I too find my younger brother frustrating sometimes, though in very different ways than Sherlock frustrates Mycroft.
8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: The way he and Sherlock revert to immensely childish behavior around each other, I guess.
9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave? Problematic fave.

p3: Parker/Hardison/Eliot, obviously3: brotp: Hardison & Lucille the Van
4: notp: Hardison/sadness
5: first headcanon that pops into my head: I got this headcanon from tumblr originally, but that one time when he gets weird about not wanting to give the delivery guy a good tip was an aberration caused by a record of poor service from this particular delivery guy. Normally he is an excellent tipper (but would rather move to a system where service workers are paid a good wage to begin with and customers aren't expected to tip).
6: favorite line from this character: "Age of the geek, baby!"
7: one way in which I relate to this character: I too consider myself a geek, advocate for No Stabbing Wednesdays, and would totally bang Parker and Eliot if they were interested.
8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: Nothing immediately comes to mind other than the one aforementioned scene where he weirdly doesn't want to tip.
9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave? The sweetest, gooiest, biggest cinnamon roll ever, too pure and perfect for this world.
