That's an excellent point! I can think of a couple of explanations: -Perhaps the event was not as fixed as Ten thought, and in fact it could be changed without alerting Reapers.
-Conversely, the change could have damaged the fabric of Time so much that Reapers were not able to come repair it.
-Perhaps there were a few minutes of grace before the Reapers descended when the future was in flux. In that grace period, Adelaide killed herself and set events on a course close enough to the original to count. I suspect this third option is most likely.
