Rose went through so much to get back to the Doctor, so I thought she would have some adjusting to do to come back to living more in the real world (though her life will always be partly the stuff of legend.) Also, both she and I needed to think through how the Doctor's rescue of Rose didn't make her quest any less amazing or important.
