Like, okay, usually it ends in a disaster of me trying to overexplain things, because I can't stop myself, but sometimes they react to something or point something out that was obvious/automatically explained in my head due to fandom.
Yeah, watching things with non-fandom folks is sometimes an exercise in frustration and accidental word-vomit, but sometimes it's super entertaining to see how they react.
