Yeah, the ridiculous monsters, poorly choreographed fight scenes, and super fake looking alien planet sets are all oddly charming. What's weird is that the version I'm watching on Netflix has been remastered, so the external shots of the Enterprise flying over alien planets look good. It's a bit jarring to go back and forth between shiny impressive spaceship and badly made rubber masks.
