Oh, I like the idea that 10.5 has a piece of the TARDIS. However much he loves Rose, he's never going to be completely content staying in one place, and the entire earth comes pretty close to being one place in his brain.
But why, oh why, do they always feel it necessary to inflict so much angst on the poor Doctor?
I know! They were doing much better at balancing the angst and the happy in S4 compared to S3, then this happened. You wonder if RTD thinks we won't come back for the next season if we aren't desperate to see some hope for the Doctor.
