So relieved.  Thank you America.

Also, Todd Akin loses to Claire McCaskill.  As a friend wrote on Facebook, looks like women's bodies had ways of shuting that whole thing now.  The Senate in general looks likely to remain Democratic, which is AWESOME.

I can't decide if I'm laughing so hard (it's 5am) because President Obama won, or because Mr I-Only-Wrote-One-Speech Romney now has to write a concession speech.

Laugh twice as long so you can cover both reasons! And get some sleep!

That is sweet justice re: Akin. May his pathetic self go step on Legos for the rest of eternity.

Also I agree with the above commenter re: "I'm such a high and mighty asswaffle that I only wrote one speech." HAHAHAHAHAH

HAHAHAHAHA

HAHAHAHAHA

HA.

I'm just waiting for him to start demanding recounts. Sigh.

It's noble to be classy in victory, but damn, a bit of schadenfreude at Mitt Romney's expense feels good.

May a skunk take up residence under Todd Akin's porch and legitimately spray all over the place.

Woo-hoo!!!!! I am so relieved and grateful, sitting here in Chicago, waiting for the President's victory speech. I was there in Grant Park four years ago, and saw history being made. I'm so glad that the Koch Brothers and Karl Rove couldn't win.

I'm there with you in the spirit of relief and gratitude. Yes we did it again.

Someone I know from Missouri has commented that, while Missouri is still the only state who elected a dead guy, at least it didn't become the only state to elect both a dead guy and a braindead guy.
