There was a pretty good collection from about 15 years ago, Sherlock Holmes in Orbit, that featured stories by sci-fi/fantasy authors. It's been a long time since I read it, but I remember really enjoying quite a few of them. And even older, there was a collection edited by Isaac Asimov called Sherlock Holmes Through Time and Space.
