sexuality headcanon: bisexual, with a leaning towards women (even though the love of his life ended up being a guy)

otp: Ianto/Jack (This is not my OTP for Jack, but I don't really have any other ships for Ianto)

brotp: Ianto & Gwen. Also, Ianto & Myfanwy the pterodactyl.

notp: Ianto/Owen. Not that I've ever seen this pairing, but it would be a terrible idea. Really, anybody sleeping with Owen is a terrible idea IMHO.

first headcanon that pops into my head: Consistently wins at Torchwood poker nights. This is partially because he has a world-class poker face, partially because he cheats, and partially because Jack lets him get away with the cheating.

favorite line from this character: "Mobiles, landlines, tin cans with bits of string, everything, absolutely everything: no phones, phones all broken. Hello? Anyone there? No! Cause the phones aren't working!"

one way in which I relate to this character: I too enjoy deadpan humor and would sleep with Jack Harkness if the opportunity arose.

thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: Not the character directly, but I have loads of secondhand embarassment from the fangirls who gave the writers excessive amounts of shit when Ianto died. Being sad about his death is fine, even years after the face. Writing fixit fics and creating the memorial wall in Cardiff are all great. But the way that some were endlessly moaning about it while kind of ignoring the thing where Jack had to kill his own grandson and a few people were harassing the writers about it was not cool and made me embarassed to be a fangirl. Torchwood is a show where bad things happen to good people sometimes. He died working heroically to save the Earth.

cinnamon roll or problematic fave? Problematic fave, mostly due to that whole having kept his Cyberman girlfriend in the basement and lied about it to the team thing.
