I'm sorry you've been spoiled by others! I had initially intended to read the series very slowly so as to have less wait at the end, but after getting spoiled about several major events I decided to read rapidly so I wouldn't get any more damn spoilers.
There are over 900 pages of plot, so even if you've been spoiled about a lot of major points hopefully there will still be parts of the story that are new to you. If you want to remind yourself of the previous books a bit without committing to rereading them, maybe you could google some some reviews online? Or I suppose you could hold off on ADWD until there's a release date for The Winds of Winter or the TV show catches up whichever comes first.
